Ed Boswell, PhD

Corporate Advisor

Ed is a recognized leader in the field of transformational change, having helped senior executives around the globe implement their most urgent priorities for nearly three decades. He is a frequent speaker on issues relating to leadership and strategy execution and is the co- author of Strategic Speed: Mobilize People, Accelerate Execution (Harvard Business Press, June 2010)—a blueprint for leaders who are driving significant change in their organizations. In 2014, Ed became a founding partner of Conner Advisory, which was established for the sole purpose of serving leaders whose organizations are pursuing changes that matter—that is, critical changes that affect the quality of the human experience at scale in the humanitarian, development, and human rights sectors. He has advised leaders at World Vision International, Doctors Without Borders, Habitat for Humanity International, Plan International, ChildFund International, Terre des Hommes, and BRAC, among others. Prior to co-founding Conner Advisory with Daryl Conner, Ed served for eight years as CEO of The Forum Corporation, a global leadership development and strategy execution firm where he worked with executives at organizations such as DuPont, Merck, and BNY Mellon. He was subsequently elected as a partner at PwC where he led their US People and Change consulting practice and worked with clients in the entertainment, media, and communications industries. Ed earned his Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. While pursuing his doctorate, he attended The Wharton School of Finance. Ed is currently a strategic advisor to the NeuroLeadership Institute, an international organization that applies the insights of brain science to organizational performance and leadership development.
