Marketing & Events Coordinator

As Marketing & Events Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for supporting the marketing department in executing NLI’s strategic engagement and communications strategy.

You’ll act as first-line support for the marketing team’s digital marketing, events and public relations efforts—helping us to guide our key audiences from awareness, to engagement, to qualification, and ultimately toward conversion and advocacy.

Some of your duties will include documenting marketing campaign activities in Hubspot, supporting the development of email marketing campaigns, contributing to social copy, and providing your team members with the tools they need to succeed in growing our organization.

This is a hands-on role for people who like to turn big ideas into high-impact activities that help our organization to grow.

As our Marketing & Events Coordinator, you will also contribute in the following areas:

1. Email Marketing

  • Assist with the setup, implementation and tracking of marketing campaigns

  • Plan, create, and curate content and manage marketing calendar in alignment with organizational priorities and goals

2. Lead Generation Events Coordination

NLI’s various internal and external events; digital and in-person alike

  • Plan and end-to-end support for the community events

  • Provide technical support and coordination for marketing webinars

  • Assist in the production and publishing of on-demand multimedia content based on webinars, podcasts, etc.

3. Demand Generation and Conversion Rate Optimization

  • Contribute to the drafting and editing of social media assets (multi-channel)

  • Assist with the development of reports to various team leads

  • Monitor data and surface key insights

  • Update all marketing activities / events for the North American region across social media pages

  • Manage NA specific landing pages and event registration pages in the global website / Hubspot

4. Reporting and Process creation

  • Prepare regular reports by collating and analyzing sales and marketing data

  • Report on metrics of Social media initiative effectiveness, EOI conversion per month, Event attendees, web performance, etc.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team and BDAs to ensure accurate and effective updating of data in sales and marketing software – Hubspot

  • Contribute to and clearly document marketing qualification and handoff to sales

  • Adhere in the achievement of organizational goals and execution of interdepartmental service level agreements



  • 1–2 years of experience as a Marketing Coordinator

  • Fast and agile learner

  • Ability to coordinate complex projects with multiple deadlines, including proven time management skills

  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools

  • Experience with research methods

  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office, Google Drive

  • Ability to undergo and retain training in web analytics, Hubspot, and other marketing tools

  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management and Content Management System software like Hubspot

  • Meticulous eye for detail

  • Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills


  • 2–4 years of experience

  • BSc degree in Marketing, Communications, English or relevant field

  • Hubspot, Cvent, Confluence, WordPress, LinkedIn, etc.

  • Familiarity with data interpretation and statistical analysis

  • Familiarity with no-code email and web-design

  • Graphic design and/or video capture and editing experience

  • Certifications in marketing disciplines and softwares
