Junior Motion Designer

As a Junior Motion Designer, you will be instrumental in supporting the Senior Motion Designer and the Video Production team in the creation of assets and animated content for internal, marketing, and client projects. You will work within the NeuroLeadership Institute brand guidelines to assist with building out our creative portfolio for both our organization, and and for our clients.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, and Google Suite.

  • Degree in animation, graphic design, video production, or related field.

  • Online portfolio and a demo reel showing basic understanding of the principles of animation, good sense of design, composition, and color usage. Preferably, you also have examples of characters, designs, props, and backgrounds in your portfolio.

 Responsibilities will include:

  • Creating assets such as characters, props, and backgrounds for animated videos

  • Preparing files for animation; modifying existing assets and animations

  • Rigging characters

  • Creating storyboards

  • Maintaining library of assets, animations, and rigs

  • Supporting the creative team in the creation of graphics and illustrations

Bonus points for experience with:

  • Plugins such as DUIK, Rubber hose, and DeeKay tool

  • Puppet based animation in After Effects

  • Hand drawn animation

  • 3D programs such as Maya or Cinema 4D
