Position Overview
We’re seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Global Insight Design to join our neuroscience research consultancy. In this position, you’ll lead a team of instructional designers and drive the development and delivery of high-quality learning solutions across multiple regions. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring the consistency, effectiveness, and scalability of our instructional design processes and strategies on a global scale.
Responsibilities
● Lead and manage a team of instructional designers across multiple regions, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
● Develop and implement global instructional design strategies, methodologies, and standards to ensure consistency and quality across all learning solutions.
● Collaborate with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and clients to identify learning needs, performance gaps, and objectives.
● Oversee the analysis, design, development, and evaluation of instructional materials, including digital learning journeys, e-learning modules, videos, instructor-led training, and blended learning programs.
● Stay updated on emerging trends, best practices, and innovative instructional design techniques to enhance the effectiveness and engagement of learning solutions.
● Ensure compliance with industry standards, accessibility guidelines, and regulatory requirements in the design and development of learning content.
● Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors, partners, and technology providers to enhance the capabilities and resources of the instructional design team.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and technology, to ensure the integration of learning solutions into overall business strategies.
● Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.
● Conduct regular performance assessments, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development for the instructional design team.

Qualifications
● Bachelor’s or master’s degree in instructional design, educational technology, or a related field.
● Proven experience (8+ years) in instructional design, including significant experience in a leadership or managerial role.
● Strong understanding of instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and instructional technologies.
● Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a geographically dispersed team.
● Demonstrated experience in managing global instructional design projects and working with cross-functional teams.
● The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time and within budget.
● Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
● Proficiency in instructional design tools, learning management systems, learning experience platforms, and e-learning authoring tools, along with the latest, cutting-edge tools to make learning journeys more innovative.
● Knowledge of industry standards, best practices, and emerging trends in instructional design and adult learning.
● Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work in a fast-paced environment, and drive innovation in instructional design practices.
